Good Evening,
We are back!
Viral fan page marketing.
I have seen it work wonders for other people, particularly a couple restaurants I (used to) work with but I haven’t played with it a ton myself. However we are running a contest on Legiit right now and are using a variation of this to get the platform some exposure to people that may need it but weren’t otherwise aware of it. So far it is going pretty well.
You can check the post out here.
The logic behind it is that people love free stuff. And the Facebook algorithm loves attention.
So by asking people to tag their friends in the comments we meet everyone’s objectives.
- We get more eyeballs on Legiit
- People get to engage and potentially win a t-shirt and some cash
- Facebook algo gets fed
I have seen others grow entire businesses around this concept and if it works well we will do more of this sort of thing.
Any how think about some ways you can apply this in your business.
If you run an agency and have clients that are struggling right now this might be a way to help get some attention to their business with a viral contest.
Have them run a viral content to give away something with some real value. Get a few hundreds engagements (or more!) do they give away, make THAT into some content, then run ads to everyone that engaged with the page which will be super high due to the viral contest, drive them to a site to make a sale, or to retarget them even further from visiting the site. Its time to get creative and give your client some extra value, this is one way to do it.
I’d love to hear if you think you can apply this in your business and if so how. Let me know in the Profiit Academy Daily Facebook Group.
Best,
CMW
