Lifestyle

Good Evening,

Lifestyle sells well in internet marketing.

Its how Tai Lopez has made 10s of millions of dollars selling his programs.

(As an aside it often distracts from the content because he actually has some great insights)

Fancy houses, cars, pretty girls/guys etc… its all so cheesy but it works.

I don’t do much of it really despite how effective it is.

The way I see it I have 3 options

Lie and pretend I live some glamorous lifestyle with a bunch of fancy “stuff”.

Actually blow a bunch of money and live that lifestyle even though ti doesn’t appeal to me at all.

Just not do it and sacrifice the revenue it could bring in exchange for a safer, long term play.

I chose the last option.

What got me thinking about this today is…

…and here is a sneak preview for my Profiit Academy Daily folks…

…is today I spent working on getting some last minute details ready to launch credit card payments on Legiit.

One of the most difficult ones was… getting a customer support phone number. (Required by the merchant processor).

I only have 1 phone and it is my personal cell phone number.

All the other phone numbers I use are call fire numbers that either go to me, or to my assistant.

I don’t want either of us to have to answer the kind of calls this is likely to get. I just wanted it to go to a voicemail.

So I had to get a second line and a cheapo flip phone to take these calls (that we will likely never get).

That took up a good 3 hours of my day… and I often spend it on mundane, but necessary stuff like that.

The point of this story is that I can’t be honest and do lifestyle marketing… and I suspect most people, including those that do it, could either.

Business is mostly boring… well not boring to the person doing it, but boring to people watching.

But do you think any of the great companies in the world… Amazon. Netflix, Apple, Microsoft etc… would exist if the people running them were worried about posing in front of a Lambo on Instagram?

Probably not.

(I say this as my current profile picture is me standing in front of my car LOL… in my defense it is a Toyota!)

So don’t worry about looking cool, and don’t think the people that do are actually as cool as they are portraying themselves.

They are either completely full of it and just doing it to pump their own ego, or like Tai Lopez, are doing it because it is effective marketing.

Just put your head down, and do the work. Those are the people that win in the end.

Talk to you tomorrow.

Best,
CMW
