Good Evening,
How many times have you, or someone you know said you don’t have time to exercise/read/learn/whatever else?
Probably a lot.
While broadly speaking I think that you have time for everything that is important enough for you (we all have the same 24 hours in the day after all) there are some ways you can fit more into the same amount of time.
Take exercise for example.
For me exercise mostly takes the form of karate. Karate there is simply not enough time in class to learn and progress, you have to find ways to practice outside class.
However I am busy running multiple businesses and simply cannot take the time to do the exercises or work on a kata on my own with any kind of regularity.
So I have done my best to integrate them into my work.
Stances (in martial arts standing certain ways to achieve certain things, also a form of exercise) for example… rather than sit at my desk all day I will often spend a few minutes an hour in each stance at my desk.
Since I have started doing that my skill in class has improved dramatically and I feel a lot stronger.
The same goes for training.
I listen to some form of training/audiobook while I work EVERY day… your subconscious will pick up more of this than you realize. You can later go back and watch the more important stuff and take notes etc…
(This may be an overshare but I also have an Amazon Alexa in my bathroom that I listen to daily motivation and news on while I shower/get ready)
Reading is something I don’t do much of, but I am going to make a goal to read one chapter a night 4-5 times a week, probably before bed… if anyone has any suggestions on how to better integrate that I am all ears (eyes?).
So my point is… yeah you do the things that are most important to you and saying you don’t have time is an excuse… but there are ways to squeeze more out of your time.
I don’t even mean multitasking exactly as I think that is bad for your output… but integrating things where you can to get every bit of experience out of this life that you can because after all we only get one shot at this, and it would be a tragedy not to make the most of it.
I really want to get more interaction going on in the Profiit Academy Daily Facebook Group so please let everyone know how you integrate things into your daily routine, or how you could do so better.
Talk to you tomorrow.
Best,
CMW
